Welcome Amy Brannen to Woodland Ridge Assisted Living!
Amy Brannen has joined Woodland Ridge Assisted Living and Memory Care as our executive director. Brannen has a strong background in community management, having previously managed assisted living communities in Athens, Cumming, and Dalton for over 11 years. In addition, Brannen has public service experience working in Charleston County, South Carolina, as a police detective, and she’s worked as a fraud investigator.
Brannen earned her undergraduate degree from Georgia Southern University and also graduated with honors from the South Carolina Law Enforcement Academy. She’s an active member of the Roswell Rotary Club and is a member of the 2010 class for Leadership North Fulton.
After caring for family members who had debilitating illnesses and who were on hospice care, Brannen knows what an important role caregiving is. She is dedicated to providing the best in customer service and care for the residents at Woodland Ridge.
Relaxing at the beach is Brannen’s favorite getaway, and she enjoys sports and reading. She often brings her miniature Schnauzer, Gunnar, to work with her, and he’s become a favorite of residents and staff members. We are honored to have her leading our Woodland Ridge team. Mark your calendars for February 24th between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. when we’ll be hosting a meet and greet session for friends and families.
